Zillah has gone 10-0 against Connell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Zillah Leopards just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Connell Eagles at 5:15 p.m. Zillah knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully Connell likes a good challenge.

Zillah is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Wahluke: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Zillah blew Wahluke out of the water with an 83-44 final score. The Leopards have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 83-40, which was the final score in Connell's tilt against Royal on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Knights are ranked tenth).

Connell's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Zillah, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Everything came up roses for Zillah against Connell in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured an 89-47 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Zillah since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
