Capitan is 9-1 against Cloudcroft since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Bears at 5:30 p.m. Cloudcroft took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Capitan, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Capitan turned things around against Mesilla Valley Christian School on Saturday. They strolled past the SonBlazers with points to spare, taking the game 56-39. That 17-point margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Meanwhile, Cloudcroft came up short against Lordsburg on Thursday, falling 58-33.

Capitan's victory bumped their record up to 4-21. As for Cloudcroft, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

Capitan couldn't quite get it done against Cloudcroft in their previous meeting two weeks ago as they fell 40-29. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
