Baseball Recap: Shenandoah Valley Comes Up Short

The Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils came up short against the Blue Mountain Eagles on Monday and fell 5-2.

Shenandoah Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase McCole, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Shenandoah Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Blue Mountain, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Shenandoah Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blue Mountain, they will challenge Tamaqua at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Raiders will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
