Preview: Craigmont vs. Memphis East
On Friday Memphis East take on Craigmont at 7:00 PM. Memphis East come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Memphis East took a serious blow against Christian Brothers last Friday, falling 0-69.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their contest two weeks ago against Lausanne Collegiate, Craigmont were happy to find some success. Craigmont strolled past Memphis Academy of Health Sciences with points to spare, taking the matchup 22-6. The win was a breath of fresh air for Craigmont as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Memphis East simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Craigmont 35-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Memphis East since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
