Columbia City extended their postseason success on Friday against Wawasee. Everything went their way against the Wawasee Warriors as they made off with a 49-23 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won nine in a row.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Molly Beer, who posted four points. Another player making a difference was Ava Couture, who scored eight points and seven rebounds.

Columbia City's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Wawasee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.

Columbia City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-40 victory against Fairfield on the 8th. Wawasee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
