Basketball Recap: Princeton's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Princeton had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Independence Knights by a score of 57-49 on Friday. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 61-48 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Princeton's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Independence, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

Princeton will venture away from home to take on Prosper at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Independence has already played their next match, a 53-50 loss against Sachse on the 27th.
