Volleyball Game Preview: Grayson Rams vs. Buford Wolves

The Grayson Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Buford Wolves at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Grayson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Brookwood, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Grayson wouldn't go down easily and took Brookwood into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 23-25, 20-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Buford earned a 3-1 win over Valdosta on Tuesday.

In the three sets Buford was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 22-25, 25-15.

Grayson's record is now 27-11. As for Buford, their record now sits at 28-3.

Grayson couldn't quite get it done against Buford in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
