After having lost a blowout in their previous game against San Diego, Orange Glen was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Mount Miguel Matadors. Considering the Patriots have won four games by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Orange Glen's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4. As for Mount Miguel, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Orange Glen will face off against Maranatha Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Orange Glen's pitchers better be ready for this one: Maranatha Christian has averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Mount Miguel, they will square off against La Jolla at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. La Jolla will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
