Soccer Game Preview: Amery vs. Barron

The Amery Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Barron Golden Bears on Saturday. Barron is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Amery is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Three Lakes/Phelps get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. Considering Amery have won nine games by more than three goals this season, another big win was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Barron has not lost a match since September 24th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They came out on top against Cumberland by a score of 3-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Barron's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Cumberland are ranked 231st).
