Softball Recap: Woodcrest Christian Takes a Loss

Woodcrest Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Arrowhead Christian Eagles, falling 11-1. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Woodcrest Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elaina Harper, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Woodcrest Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Arrowhead Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Woodcrest Christian by a score of 21-10 on Thursday.
