Volleyball Game Preview: La Cueva Bears vs. Capital Jaguars

The La Cueva Bears will take on the Capital Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. La Cueva will be strutting in after a victory while Capital will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, La Cueva was able to grind out a solid win over Eldorado, taking the game 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-9, 24-26, 26-10.

Meanwhile, Capital was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Sandia.

While Capital ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-18.

Capital's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for La Cueva, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.

Everything went La Cueva's way against Capital in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as La Cueva made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
