Baseball Recap: Goldwater Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Goldwater's offense. They came up short against the Paradise Honors Panthers on Tuesday, falling 10-0. Considering the last time the Bulldogs couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Goldwater dropped their record down to 5-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Paradise Honors, their record is now 18-3.

Looking ahead, Paradise Honors will take on Shadow Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Matadors have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. Goldwater will be paying especially close attention to Paradise Honors' match: after Paradise Honors faces off against Shadow Mountain, they'll take on Goldwater again at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
