Football Recap: Pallotti Skates Past Our Lady of Mount Carmel with Ease

Pallotti never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 35-0 win over the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars. Considering the Panthers have won four contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pallotti to victory, but perhaps none more so than Clement Boti, who rushed for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries. Boti has become a key player for the Panthers: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 3-5 otherwise. Kareem Fisher did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 95 receiving yards.

Pallotti's run defense was locked in: Our Lady of Mount Carmel could only muster two yards per carry. The team can thank Ethan Gilmer for the heroic effort on defense: he. Pallotti didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.7.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Pallotti, bringing their record up to 6-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.0 points on average over those games. As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
