Mission Bay won the last time they faced Mar Vista and things went their way on Friday too. The Buccaneers came out on top against the Mariners by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mission Bay took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14.

Audie Caban paced Mission Bay's offense, picking up 11 kills. Caban got some help from Gianna Harder and her 13 assists. Caban also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kalea Anderson, racking up three apiece.

Mission Bay's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Mar Vista, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Mission Bay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Oceanside on the 12th. As for Mar Vista, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Central on the 12th.
