Basketball Recap: Varela Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

Varela won the last time they faced Sunset and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Varela Vipers secured a 25-19 W over the Sunset Knights.

Varela is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Sunset, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Varela will take on Miami Beach at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Varela's offense hasn't had much luck over their past three games, but Tuesday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around. As for Sunset, they will challenge Killian on February 6th.
