Basketball Recap: Clarksville's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Clarksville won the last time they faced Rock Creek Academy and Tiarra Lewis did her part to make sure it happened again. The Generals took down the Lions 51-33 on Wednesday with plenty of help from Lewis, who posted 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Watts, who scored six points and seven steals. She is becoming a predictor of Clarksville's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is undefeated (and 0-5 when she doesn't).

Clarksville's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. As for Rock Creek Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
