Volleyball Game Preview: Worthington Kilbourne Wolves vs. Dublin Jerome Celtics

Worthington Kilbourne has gone 9-1 against Dublin Jerome recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wolves are taking a road trip to take on the Celtics at 6:30 p.m. Worthington Kilbourne is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Worthington Kilbourne can't be too worried about heading out to take on Dublin Jerome: they just beat Westerville South at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Wolves walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wildcats on Thursday.

Worthington Kilbourne walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 17-25, 25-17.

Worthington Kilbourne's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Audra Bailey, who had 15 digs and seven assists. That's the most digs Bailey has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Nora Cheslik, who had eight digs and three aces.

Meanwhile, Dublin Jerome got the win against Hilliard Bradley on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Dublin Jerome won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-11, 25-13.

Worthington Kilbourne's record is now 17-4. As for Dublin Jerome, their record now sits at 17-3.

Worthington Kilbourne came up short against Dublin Jerome when the teams last played back in September of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
