Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Godinez Fundamental). They were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Valencia Tigers on Tuesday. The Grizzlies' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

Godinez Fundamental let Chris Dominguez and Anthony Martinez run wild. Dominguez went 3-for-6 with four RBI, two runs, and one double, while Martinez went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Martinez is becoming a predictor of Godinez Fundamental's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-14 when he doesn't).

With the win, Godinez Fundamental broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-14. As for Valencia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Godinez Fundamental will have a chance to go back-to-back against Valencia: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
