Football Recap: Southeast Valley Takes a Loss

Southeast Valley was the 49-0 winner over Spirit Lake when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars had to suffer through a 56-27 loss at the hands of the Indians.

Southeast Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Spirit Lake, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southeast Valley will square off against Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove on Friday. As for Spirit Lake, they will face off against Estherville Lincoln Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will be up against the Midgets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.29 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
