Preview: Hollister vs. Lamar
On Friday, Hollister are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Lamar at 7:00 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Hollister took care of business in their home opener. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past East Newton 35-0. Hollister was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Lamar had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered Logan-Rogersville 65-20. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Lamar are ranked far ahead of Logan-Rogersville in the MaxPreps rankings.
Their wins bumped Lamar to 1-0 and Hollister to 1-0. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
