Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Drew Hege and Coen Miller Lead North Davidson to Victory

North Davidson entered their tilt with Jordan-Matthews on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They wrapped up 2024 with a 71-52 win over the Jordan-Matthews Jets.

North Davidson was led to victory by Coen Miller and Drew Hege. Miller went 7 for 10 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks, while Hege went 5 of 10 en route to 12 points and seven steals. The dominant performance gave Hege a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Amir Dalton, who posted 13 points.

North Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Jordan-Matthews, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

North Davidson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 85-37 defeat against Watauga on the 27th. As for Jordan-Matthews, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-52 loss against Ashe County on the 27th.
