Basketball Recap: Pine Eagle Comes Up Short

Pine Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 63-47 to the Prairie City Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-32 last Saturday.

Pine Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Prairie City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.

Pine Eagle will venture away from home to square off against Four Rivers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prairie City, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Prairie City Panthers challenge the Wallowa Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
