Volleyball Game Preview: Kenesaw Blue Devils vs. Shelton Bulldogs

Kenesaw is 2-8 against Shelton since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will head out to take on the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Kenesaw not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 2nd (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Grand Island Lutheran as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Lightning: they've now won nine in a row.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Monday. Shelton was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Pleasanton.

Shelton walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-17, 25-16.

Kenesaw's victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Shelton, their win bumped their record up to 24-5.

Kenesaw suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Shelton when the teams last played last Monday. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
