Baseball Recap: Friday's Defeat Ends Springville's Winning Streak

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Springville couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northside Rams on Friday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this match were averaging 2.48 runs allowed.

Kevin Jones was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.
