Baseball Recap: Lafayette Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lexington Catholic, Lafayette was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spencer County Bears, sneaking past 5-3.

Lafayette's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 18-11. As for Spencer County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-9.

Coming up, Lafayette will head out on the road to take on Tates Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spencer County, they will head out to square off against Pleasure Ridge Park at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
