Even though the Providence Athletic Club Panthers scored an imposing 64 points on Thursday, the South Charlotte T Thunder still came out on top. South Charlotte T took down Providence Athletic Club 79-64. That's another feather in the cap for South Charlotte T, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Luke Rullo was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points. The matchup was his 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Hill, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 assists.
The win makes it two in a row for South Charlotte T and bumps their season record up to 7-8. As for Providence Athletic Club, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.
South Charlotte T will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin Prep Academy National at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Franklin Prep Academy National is ranked 306th, while South Charlotte T is ranked 289th). As for Providence Athletic Club, they will head out on the road to face off against Upstate HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
