Soccer Recap: Faith Lutheran Plays to a Tie

Faith Lutheran's season-opener on Friday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. Neither they nor the South Tahoe Vikings could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Kristian Hristov hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Faith Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Sparks on the 15th. As for South Tahoe, they have also already played their next match, an 11-0 loss against Coronado on the 16th.
