Soccer Game Preview: Tallassee vs. Holtville

The Tallassee Tigers will square off against the Holtville Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Tallassee is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Tallassee took on Trinity Presbyterian on Thursday. The Tigers fell 5-3 to the Wildcats.

Yuren Rodriguez and Irvin Delfin scored all three of Tallassee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 37 goals.

Meanwhile, Holtville's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Wetumpka by a score of 3-2.

Holtville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Tallassee, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4-3.

Everything went Tallassee's way against Holtville in their previous meeting back in March, as Tallassee made off with a 6-1 victory. In that game, the Tigers amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
