Queensbury skates past Gloversville with ease

The Queensbury Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 26 points or more this season. They blew past Gloversville 51-23 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Queensbury who now have seven in a row.

Queensbury got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Shea Canavan out in front who scored ten points along with six assists and six steals. Canavan is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Zehr, who scored 12 points along with three steals.

Queensbury pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Gloversville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Queensbury will head out on the road to face off against Broadalbin-Perth at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gloversville, they will be playing at home against Glens Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
