Basketball Recap: Mountlake Terrace Hawks vs. Shorewood Stormrays
Mountlake Terrace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 56-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shorewood Stormrays. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-53 back in January.

Despite the loss, Mountlake Terrace saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jaliyah Dyson went 10 of 17 en route to 23 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dyson has scored all season. Abby Mattens also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.
