Soccer Recap: Lake Worth Takes a Loss

Lake Worth was the 1-0 winner over Eagle Mountain when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Lake Worth Bullfrogs fell just short of the Eagle Mountain Knights by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday.

Lake Worth's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Eagle Mountain, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-13.

Coming up, Lake Worth will take on Springtown at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eagle Mountain, they will face off against Castleberry at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Eagle Mountain's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 11 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
