Volleyball Recap: Conard Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Conard's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Northwest Catholic Lions with a sharp 3-0 win. The Red Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Conard walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-7, 25-20.

Evelyn K paced Conard's offense, picking up six kills. K got some help from Jayme K and her 20 assists. Kate R controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Conard pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Northwest Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Conard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Lewis Mills on the 3rd. As for Northwest Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Bristol Central on the 3rd.
