Santana and Grossmont are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Santana Sultans will head out to challenge the Grossmont Foothillers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Last Friday, Santana lost to Granite Hills at home by a 61-47 margin.

Meanwhile, Grossmont played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 83-50 loss at the hands of West Hills. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Foothillers have suffered since January 23, 2024.

Grossmont's defeat dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Santana, they now have a losing record at 11-12.

Santana beat Grossmont 62-52 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Santana since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
