Tippecanoe kept a clean sheet against Oakwood on Saturday. They skirted past the Lumberjacks 1-0. The win was all the more spectacular given Tippecanoe's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 207th, while Oakwood are ranked 32nd).

Tippecanoe is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five contests. Having lost for the first time this season, Oakwood fell to 10-1-1.

Coming up, Tippecanoe will challenge Northmont at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Tippecanoe's defense better be ready for this one: Northmont have averaged an impressive 2.7 goals per game this season. As for Oakwood, they will welcome Waynesville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
