Volleyball Game Preview: Dublin Scioto Irish vs. Dublin Jerome Celtics

Dublin Scioto is 0-7 against Dublin Jerome since April of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Irish will challenge the Celtics at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Dublin Scioto lost 3-0 to Worthington Kilbourne on Thursday.

While Dublin Scioto had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Dublin Jerome came up short against New Albany on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Celtics have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dublin Jerome was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made New Albany work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 28-26, 19-25, 25-23.

Dublin Jerome's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Dublin Scioto, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Dublin Scioto might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Dublin Jerome in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Irish avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
