Hunt's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Southern Wayne with a sharp 10-0 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Hunt's offense was hitting Southern Wayne from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Bri Little led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, East Wake fell victim to West Johnston and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Wake's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hunt, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-2.

Hunt took their victory against East Wake in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0. Will Hunt repeat their success, or does East Wake have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
