Basketball Recap: Fannindel Takes a Loss

Fannindel lost against Winnsboro back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fannindel Falcons took a blow against the Winnsboro Raiders, falling 68-26. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Fannindel still got an impressive performance from Kalob Runnels, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds. Josh Tinnell was another key player, putting up four points and nine rebounds.

Fannindel's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Winnsboro, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fannindel will welcome Sulphur Bluff at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fannindel is facing Sulphur Bluff at the right time seeing as Sulphur Bluff is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Winnsboro, they will host Lone Oak at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
