Manheim Central and Conestoga Valley are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Barons will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Buckskins at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Manheim Central's offense. They came up short against Donegal on Monday, falling 10-0. The Barons have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Conestoga Valley was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They lost 12-2 to Lampeter-Strasburg.

Conestoga Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julia Rhoads, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Manheim Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Conestoga Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Manheim Central skirted past Conestoga Valley 3-2 in their previous meeting back in May of 2023. Do the Barons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Buckskins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
