Softball Recap: Coronado Cougars vs. Shadow Ridge Mustangs
Coronado had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 12-11 to make it four. They lost 14-5 to the Shadow Ridge Mustangs. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 14-5.
Summer Gilliam made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Goldberg, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs.
