Georgia high school football playoffs: Brackets, schedules for all eight classifications

Two MaxPreps Top 25 teams are part of the Georgia High School Association football playoffs that open this weekend in all eight classifications. Fourth-ranked Grayson (Loganville) and No. 11 Colquitt County (Norman Park) could meet in the AAAAAAA semifinals but each needs to win three games first, starting on Friday.

Grayson (9-0) opens at home against Tift County (Tifton), while Colquitt County (7-0) hosts Brookwood (Snellville). Defending AAAAAAA champion Marietta (3-7) will have a tall task to repeat because it opens at East Coweta (9-1).

All AA playoff games start on Saturday, but the other classifications begin on Friday.

Other defending champions are Harrison (AAAAAA), Buford (AAAAA), Blessed Trinity (AAAA), Cedar Grove (AAA), Dublin (AA), Irwin County (A public) and Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (A private).
