Basketball Recap: Mason Classical Academy Falls to Donahue Catholic in First Game of Season

Mason Classical Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Donahue Catholic Shamrocks on Tuesday, falling 82-35. If the Paladins were looking for revenge after losing 86-33 to the Shamrocks when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Isaac Loboda was nothing short of spectacular for Donahue Catholic: he went 10-for-19 on his way to 22 points along with eight assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Vincenzo Esposito, who shot 58% from the field to rack up 16 points and seven rebounds.

Coming up, Mason Classical Academy will take on Babcock at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Donahue Catholic, they will welcome The Village School of Naples at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
