Bishop Kelly dropped their record down to 14-10 on Thursday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Skyview Hawks by a score of 6-5. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 9-6.

Lucas Blaine was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Boyd, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

As for Skyview, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games.

On Skyview's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Krahn, who went 1-for-4 with two runs.

As of now, neither Bishop Kelly nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
