There's no place like home for Marana, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Tucson High Magnet School Badgers on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Badgers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

One reason for the win was Marana's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-18, 25-14.

Marana pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Marana will challenge rival Rincon/University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tucson High Magnet School is set to take on their familiar foe Sunnyside at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
