On Tuesday, West Valley faced Monroe Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The West Valley Wolf Pack walked away with a 54-43 win over the Monroe Catholic Rams. Winning may never get old, but the Wolf Pack sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

West Valley has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Monroe Catholic, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-6.

West Valley will square off against Bettye Davis East Anchorage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
