Softball Preview: Lebo Wolves vs. Wabaunsee Chargers

The Lebo Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Wabaunsee Chargers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Lebo is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.

Last Thursday, Lebo was able to grind out a solid victory over West Franklin, taking the game 8-5.

Meanwhile, Wabaunsee scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Blue Valley as Wabaunsee made off with a 15-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wabaunsee.

Ava Meinhardt made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Meinhardt was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles.

In other batting news, Sarah Denton and Meredith Denton did most of the damage at the plate: Denton went 4-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and a stolen base, while Denton scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
