Volleyball Recap: Fillmore Takes a Loss

Fillmore lost against Santa Paula back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Flashes lost 3-0 to the Cardinals. The Flashes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-20, 25-10.

Fillmore's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Santa Paula, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fillmore will square off against rival Carpinteria at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Santa Paula is set to face off against their familiar foe Channel Islands at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
