On Friday Jared Zientek tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) Zientek has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with less than two walks. For the season, he has an ERA of 1.79 over 15.7 innings pitched.
