Baseball Recap: New Haven Rockets vs. Mott Marauders

New Haven lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Mott, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's matchup. The Rockets blew past the Marauders 10-3 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Rockets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Connor Abuan made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Abuan was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Deven Nagorsen was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of New Haven's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
