Volleyball Recap: Riverstone International's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Riverstone International took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Idaho City, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Otters sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Wildcats on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Otters as they're now sitting on six straight.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (110-104) Riverstone International actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-22, 20-25, 17-25, 25-23, 17-15.

Sofia Pattee paced Riverstone International's offense, picking up 15 kills. Pattee got some help from Vera Brooks and her 17 assists. Pattee was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Riverstone International's record is now 6-2. As for Idaho City, they dropped their record down to 6-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
