Basketball Recap: Nacogdoches Takes a Loss

Nacogdoches's tournament run continued when they took on Athens on Friday. The Nacogdoches Dragons fell 50-42 to the Athens Hornets.

Nacogdoches now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Athens, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nacogdoches will face off against Hallsville at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Athens, it'll be a Battle of the Bugs the Athens Hornets duke it out with the Kemp Yellowjackets at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
